Liu Kang
Liu Kang is the greatest warrior and champion of Earthrealm, and he has saved it from Outworld's forces many times. He is a Shaolin monk, and he has appeared in nearly every Mortal Kombat game. In the first two games, he won the Mortal Kombat tournament and saved Earthrealm. After he was killed, he returned as a reanimated corpse in the original timeline and as an undead revenant who rules the Netherrealm in the rebooted timeline. In Mortal Kombat 11, he became a fire god and returned to his heroic role.
